Our Future Sanctuary

A long-term ambition to create a wildlife sanctuary in Swindon — a vision, not yet a reality.

Our Vision

We dream of a future where Swindon has a dedicated wildlife sanctuary — a place where injured and vulnerable animals can receive professional care, recover safely, and be released back into the wild. This is a long-term ambition, not an existing facility. We are starting with community information and connection, and we hope to grow from there.

This sanctuary does not exist yet

Any physical sanctuary would require appropriate land, funding, professional expertise, planning permissions, animal-welfare arrangements, and legal compliance before becoming operational. This page describes a vision and aspiration only. Swindon Together does not currently operate a wildlife sanctuary, rescue centre, or licensed facility.

No payment processing is active. Any future fundraising would only begin after appropriate legal and regulatory arrangements are in place.
