Our platform goes beyond a simple directory. Through features like Snap & Map, residents can photograph and report issues such as potholes, fly-tipping, and pavement damage, with AI-assisted analysis helping administrators review and prioritise submissions. The Civic Regeneration workflow tracks concerns from identification through to action and verification, while transparent status labelling — VERIFIED, COMMUNITY REPORTED, and COMMUNITY PROPOSAL — ensures that residents always know the source and reliability of the information they see. We also provide tools for community voice intelligence, town comparisons, and a public scorecard so that progress is visible and measurable.

Swindon Together is designed for everyone who calls Swindon home — residents of every culture, background, age, and faith, as well as local businesses, community groups, and partner organisations who want to reach and serve their communities. Accessibility is at the heart of our design, with high-contrast mode, text-resizing tools, and multi-language support so that no one is excluded.

The platform is built and maintained by the Swindon Together team, an independent community initiative that is not part of Swindon Borough Council or any other public body. We work alongside residents, community organisations, and local partners to ensure the platform reflects real community needs. All civic content is clearly labelled by source, AI-generated outputs carry trust disclaimers, and we never publish personal information or claim that a report has been officially resolved unless it has genuinely happened and been recorded by an authorised administrator.
